a. Hours of Operation:

Requirements for Admittance to and Use of the Pool Area:
All residents must complete a McKinley Mill Pool Access Form and return it to the property manager. These forms were hand delivered to all residences with the April newsletter. Replacement copies may be obtained from the property manager [drobbins13@earthlink.net]. Please allow several days for processing--forms are not processed on the weekends or holidays as the property management offices are closed. Please plan accordingly. Until this form is submitted and residency verified by the property manager admission to the pool shall not be allowed. You may also download, print and return this form to the property manager from here.
Residents must also be current on all dues, fines and other charges owed to the homeowners' association
To enter and remain in the enclosed pool area residents SHALL:
- Have a valid photo identification which states the holder’s date of birth, such as driver’s license or state identification card;
- Be 18 years of age or older OR be accompanied by a resident who is at least 18 years of age;
- Check in with the pool attendant on duty;
- Follow all rules and regulations listed in this notice, posted at the pool, or voiced by the attendant.
- Any resident 18 years or older who is accompanied by guests or children under 18 years of age IS REQUIRED TO REMAIN AT THE POOL WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES.
- Lessees must provide a copy of the lease with the owners and lessees names at the time of submitting the registration. Only adults listed on this lease will qualify as "residents" if the owner does not retain pool usage rights for himself. (If owner retains pool entry rights then lessee will not also be granted rights.) No sublessees are allowed.
Non-residents or under age residents found using the facilities will be asked to leave, and the police may be called for trespassing.
******Residents who observe violations of admission procedures or have complaints regarding enforcement of rules should contact the property management company at drobbins13@earthlink .net with the date, time and description of the occurrence.
c. Guest Policies: Guests will not be admitted UNLESS the resident is present and remains at the pool. Each household may bring up to four guests at any one time. Residents are responsible for making sure their guests are aware of and abide by all pool rules at all times.
Residents are legally and financially responsible for their own actions AND actions of their guests. Pool privileges may be revoked for violations of pool rules a resident or the resident’s child[ren] or guests. Restitution to the homeowners’ association shall be made for any costs incurred as a result of such behavior BEFORE pool privileges are restored.
d. Pool Staffing Responsibilities: The pool area will be staffed with 1 attendant. The attendant is responsible for: the daily upkeep of the pool area and pool house facility; enforcement of pool admission regulations; and enforcement of pool area rules. The attendant has the authority to suspend pool privileges of any residents for violations of pool rules. The attendant will report resident issues to the management company and/or police.
THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. POOL USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
e. Additional Pool Regulations
The pool phone is for attendant and resident emergency use only.
No animals are legally allowed in the pool area. Any resident or his/her guest responsible for such closure shall be required to pay $1,000.00 to cover the costs to the homeowners’ association for remedial measures. Such resident’s pool privileges are suspended until payment is complete.
No glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool area. Any resident responsible for such closure will be required to pay a $3,000.00 to cover the costs to the homeowners’ association for the violation. Such resident’s pool privileges are suspended until payment is complete.
Shower before using pool to avoid pool closures due to improper chemical balance.
No running, pushing, wrestling or horseplay in the enclosed pool area. This includes, but is not limited to, No diving, handstands, flips, or other gymnastic stunts into or around the pool area.
Bathing suits must be worn to use the pool. Clothing and non-swimming footwear is forbidden. Infants must wear swim diapers; plastic pants are not allowed.
No one with an infectious disease, inflamed eyes, nasal or ear discharge, open wounds or bandages will be allowed in the pool.
No yelling, loud music, offensive behavior or profane language is allowed around the pool area.
Bicycles, roller blades and skateboards are not allowed in or attached to the enclosed pool area.
Please put all trash in the trash cans; soda bottles and cans in recycle receptacle; and baby diapers and related materials in
BATHROOM trash cans for sanitary reasons.
Pool furniture and supplies should not be removed from the pool area for any reason.
The parking lot is for the sole purpose of parking for those using the pool or playground. Skateboarding, rollerblading, bicycling, loitering or other use is expressly prohibited. Loitering, trespassing or vandalism by residents or their guests at any time will be reported to the police and, in addition to any other legal remedies, result in the suspension of pool privileges.
Homeowners are responsible for the actions of their children and guests. The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible homeowner. Pool privileges will be suspended until restitution is complete.
The pool service and homeowners’ association are not be responsible for the loss or damage to any personal property of any kind.
f. Suspension of Pool Privileges and Fines For Failure to Pay Homeowners’ Association Dues: Residents and their households who are delinquent in their homeowners’ association dues shall not be to admitted into or allowed to use the pool facilities until their homeowners dues and fines are paid in full. Payment must be made to Grandchester Meadows, Inc.
Reinstatement of pool privileges will take effect when the funds have cleared.
